    I don’t find that too surprising - they both have things in common with each other anyway, it’s not like the Apple/PC this is a blood feud.

    Just as long as Balmer isn’t there, everything is perfectly fine..

    Hmm… very interesting. This must be a fairly old photo though, they look kind of different. It’s interesting to see either of them in a normal social situation at all, nevermind togather.

    I suppose it is perfectly plausable that either Steve just gave up and forgave, or perhaps that he even agrees with the opinion that his “stealing” from Xerox was no nore morally grounded than Bill “stealing” from Apple.

    Also, honestly, any guy to makes it a full-time job giving away money (i.e. the Bill and Malinda Gates Foundation) must be a pretty decent guy in person.

    It’s just the apple fanboys and M$ fanboys who take their corporate rivalry as murderous hate for eachother…those of us in the middle realize that whenever 2 companies compete for the same niche market, they compete (well…the alternative is one company with a monopoly….but economic rulership is not a good alternative - the company chan charge large prices for crap and people have to get it) people who think this could be a reference to windows, try “charging the cost of OSX Tiger for Windows 3.1″

    IMO:
    Mac is too expensive and exclusive
    Windows is too crappy and becoming too exclusive (seen Vista yet?)
    GO LINUX!!!
